The Frontline Invitational Charity Golf Tournament
The 1st Annual Frontline Invitational Charity Golf Tournament was created with one goal in mind: to rally behind those who spend their careers running toward crisis while carrying the unseen weight of trauma, loss, and stress.
Hosted by the Nova Chemicals Emergency Services Team, this event brings together frontline workers, civilians, and community partners to support the mental wellness and resilience of those who serve — and the families who stand with them.
Taking place on September 5, 2025, at the Sylvan Lake Golf & Country Club, this 4- person scramble tournament blends community, camaraderie, and purpose. It’s a chance to connect beyond the uniform and to play, laugh, and raise critical funds that will make a lasting impact.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit Legacy Place Society and Project All In, two Alberta-based non-profits working directly with First Responders, Military, and Frontline Professionals across the province.

Sea to Sea For PTSD is a registered not for profit based in Alberta. https://www.seatoseaforptsd.ca/
From April 3, 2022 and count forward about 30 weeks… you’ll see along the Trans Canada Hwy a team of first responders walking across Canada to raise awareness to PTSD and raise funds to support numerous mental health initiatives throughout Canada.
Legacy Place Society is a proud supporter of this initiative. We want to stop the stigma around the subject of PTSD! As we say… our setbacks are meant to build a sacred strength that we never would of had otherwise. Too many of us apply false narratives to our pain and what is says about it. We believe things like “we are broken, we are damaged, life was meant to work out for us…” But these thoughts are only a confused narrative. It’s a common and “natural” belief but simply inaccurate. There’s a simple way to live into d different belief system about our pain, trauma and setbacks. We can finally understand the hidden programming that undermines our life. If we can become aware of it, name it and see it for what it is, we can make a massive shift toward emotional health.
Legacy Place Society is a Registered Charity (CRA 891549420) and will issue tax receipts for all donations received. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/legacy-place-society/?mprompt=1

Cst. Terry Fieguth’s Incredible Pull-Up Challenge: Raising $20,000 for First Responder Mental Health
In an inspiring display of strength and commitment, Cst. Terry Fieguth of the Lethbridge Police Service completed a remarkable 4080 pull-ups as part of a mental health awareness campaign for first responders. This powerful initiative aimed to raise both awareness and funds to support practical mental health initiatives that promote the well-being of those who serve on the frontlines. Through his incredible effort, Terry raised $20,000—money that will go toward crucial mental health resources for first responders.
How the Funds Are Being Used:
Legacy Place Society is proud to be a part of this important cause, with two major initiatives funded by the proceeds from Terry’s pull-up challenge:
- The CALM App
Legacy Place has made a bulk purchase of one-year CALM app memberships to provide first responders with tools to reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance overall mental well-being. The CALM app offers a variety of resources, including sleep stories, mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, and more, to help users manage anxiety and improve their emotional resilience. To access your complimentary CALM app subscription, email info@legacyplacesociety.com with your preferred email address (one that can bypass work firewalls). Please act quickly as the app subscriptions are limited and must be redeemed before April 19, 2023.
- Dr. Kevin Gilmartin’s Book: “Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement”
As part of this initiative, Legacy Place is also offering a free copy of Dr. Kevin Gilmartin’s groundbreaking book, Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement. This highly recommended resource is not only invaluable for law enforcement officers but also applicable to all first responders. It offers practical strategies for managing the emotional challenges of the job, helping to build resilience and emotional wellness. To receive your complimentary copy, email info@legacyplacesociety.com with your name and full mailing address.
A Big Thank You to Cst. Fieguth:
Terry’s commitment to mental health and his dedication to supporting his fellow first responders is truly remarkable. By completing over 4000 pull-ups, he has not only raised significant funds but also sparked an important conversation about mental health in the first responder community. We are proud to support this initiative and encourage everyone to take advantage of these valuable mental health resources.
