Royal Canadian Navy Benevolence Fund – $18,000 Press Release
Legacy Place Society Partners with RCNBF to Support Royal Canadian Navy Members
For Immediate Release
Calgary, Alberta – Legacy Place Society is excited to announce its new partnership with the Royal Canadian Navy Benevolence Fund (RCNBF). Their generous donation will provide critical support for Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) members by sponsoring a room in each of the Legacy Place Houses.
RCNBF’s Commitment to RCN Members
The RCNBF has pledged $6,000 for each Legacy Place House. This funding will create a space for RCN members to rest, recover, and access support during difficult times. The rooms are essential for members in transition or facing personal challenges.
Strengthening Support for RCN Families
“The RCNBF’s donation ensures RCN members and their families can access a safe, welcoming space,” said Amberly Wrubleski, Fund Development Specialist at Legacy Place Society. “Their support helps us provide comfort and stability when it’s needed most.”
Legacy Place Society’s transitional housing program supports military personnel, veterans, and first responders. The rooms funded by the RCNBF will provide valuable respite for RCN members. These spaces help members navigate transitions and overcome difficult moments.
A Powerful Partnership for Lasting Impact
“We are grateful for the RCNBF’s generosity,” continued Wrubleski. “This contribution not only provides immediate support but also helps build long-term resilience for RCN members adjusting to life after service.”
This partnership reflects the shared commitment to mental health and emotional well-being. The RCNBF’s sponsorship plays an important role in supporting the healing and recovery of RCN members.
