Jennifer Tejada, Chief of Police for the City of Emeryville, California will be speaking at the First Responder Suicide Awareness Conference in Calgary Alberta Canada on September 19, 2019.
Chief Tejada has worked tirelessly for the past five years to institutionalize mindfulness resiliency training in first responder curriculum. Paying attention to your wellbeing is critical to optimal performance and effective leadership skills. Chief Tejada will share her remarkable story on how mindfulness-based resilience training changed her life, saved her career and her approach to organizational resiliency.
