Legacy Place Society Family Camp:
UPDATE – Legacy Place has just received the pricing for 2022 May long weekend family camp.
Create lasting memories, re-energize as individuals and families, and reconnect with others at the annual Legacy Place Society Family Camp.
Each year on the May long weekend, Legacy Place Society brings together our audience of first responders, emergency services, and military families to do the simple life of camping. The campsite is exclusive to our audience only for this weekend. Just think over the course of the weekend that nine meals and various day snacks will not require any thinking to prepare or clean up after… no house cleaning or yard work, no cell phones or Facebook interference over the dinner table… laughter and songs around the campfire… encouragement to get on that horse, up the climbing wall or survive the zipline adrenaline… a time of reflection and conversation with old acquaintances and new relationships built with the newcomers.
Each year we bring in professional personnel that speaks to areas of building resiliency and legacies within the first responder and military family. This includes thought-provoking conversations about raising confident children, parent/child relationships, or how to strengthen marriages or relationships with others.
Everyone under the age of 18 is involved with numerous discussions and activities that promote building confidence, reflection, and encouraging themselves and others – “you can do it” – or celebrating the completion of the task or craft.
The camp is help minutes from Sundre, Alberta, at Camp Evergreen, which hospitality and facilities provide a fantastic venue of outdoor activities including wall climbing, horseback riding, great food and a place to have fun.
We encourage individuals and families taking part in our annual family camp to take advantage of the purpose of these times away with family.
NOTE: AHS Covid 19 protocols are continuing to evolve. The protocols noted by AHS at time of camp date will be adhered to.
Legacy Place Society continues to present this program at greatly reduced costs to those participating, seeing a significant impact on the first responders, emergency services, and military personnel and their families who attend.
We look forward to seeing you at the Family Camp! For more information, please contact us at info@legacyplacesociety.com or call 403-201-9945.
