“The Other Side of the Hero” – A Collaborative Event by Edmonton Metro EMS and Legacy Place Society
Join us for the screening of the powerful documentary “The Other Side of the Hero” at the Garneau Theater (Metro Cinema) in Edmonton on January 31, 2018. This event is brought to you through the collaborative efforts of Edmonton Metro Emergency Medical Services and Legacy Place Society.
About the Other Side of the Hero:
The Other Side of the Hero offers an intimate look into the personal lives of first responders. It highlights what happens when they remove their uniforms and face the emotional challenges that come with their profession. Actor Enrico Colantoni, who portrayed Sgt. Greg Parker on the series Flashpoint, guides us through this compelling journey.
Through the stories of their families, spouses, co-workers, and the responders themselves, the documentary showcases the emotional toll first responders often carry, a side of them rarely seen by the public.
