Evidence shows that reducing stigma, raising awareness, building resilience and developing coping skills are effective strategies that can help be better prepared for and deal with some of the events and situations encountered on the job. It’s also critical for the family unit to feel comfortable and equipped to navigate through this care. Legacy Place Society provides a unique bridge of support in it’s objectives of confidential crisis line, home away from home and family included education partnerships.
