Join the First Responder Suicide Awareness Conference in Calgary and Edmonton
Since 2017, Legacy Place Society has partnered with local Alberta first responder agencies and military personnel to host the annual Suicide Awareness Conference in Calgary and Edmonton. Over 4,000 attendees, including first responders, spouses, partners, and friends from the home front, have benefited from the event. Participants come from Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Services, 911 Dispatch, Veterans, and the Canadian Armed Forces.
Creating Conversations Around Mental Health and Suicide
The conference creates open discussions around suicide, mental health, and wellness. It offers hope, awareness, and practical insights, while providing attendees with resources and networking opportunities. It has become a vital event for reshaping how we talk about mental health challenges in emergency services.
