Alberta Peace Officers Memorial Run

The Alberta Peace Officers’ Memorial Run is a new provincial initiative organized by members of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) and the Calgary Police Service (CPS) with full participation from law enforcement across Alberta.

Over two days, runners will complete 106 kilometers, with each kilometer dedicated to one of the 106 peace officers who have died in the line of duty in Alberta. This event symbolizes sacrifice, honour, unity, and remembrance – connecting law enforcement, families, and communities in a shared commitment to never forget those who gave their lives protecting others.

The run will conclude with a formal Memorial Ceremony at the Alberta Legislature on September 27th 2026, where participants, families, and community members will gather to honour our fallen heroes.
