Behind the Badge: The Heart of the 2nd Annual RCMP Charity Classic
On August 11, 2025, the beautiful grounds of Carstairs Community Golf Club will transform into more than just a golf course. They will become a place of connection, support, and collective action for mental wellness.
A Tournament With Purpose
Now in its second year, the 2nd Annual RCMP Charity Classic was created with a clear goal: to support the mental health and resiliency of First Responder, Military, and Veteran families.
This event is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a way for First Responders, civilians, and community partners to come together. It’s a reminder that healing often begins with conversation, connection, and community care.
Why It Matters
First Responders face high-stress environments daily. However, the impact of crisis, trauma, and loss doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. The families behind these individuals often absorb the emotional toll as well—quietly and without recognition.
That’s why this tournament is so meaningful. It’s a chance to say “We see you. We support you.”
All 2nd Annual RCMP Charity Classic proceeds go directly to Legacy Place Society, a non-profit dedicated to providing confidential housing, peer support, and mental health education across Alberta. These services are designed to help First Responder and Military families feel safe, supported, and equipped to manage the challenges that come with a life of service.
