Legacy Place Society is pleased to bring to you and your family “VIP HELLO HERO”

This on line course, designed by Dr Jody Carrington is made for all first responders (paid, volunteer and the families), including law enforcement, fire fighters, emergency medical services, 911 operators, mental health workers, veterans and military personnel.

The curriculum provides clear and actionable advice, including PDF and video formats and step by step guides for each module of focus.  The ability to rewind and reconnect as needed or just by choosing a few idea and conversation starters, can add up to a wide variety of new conversations and opportunities to incorporate the learnings personally and professionally.

Module 1           Hello Hero – what is meant to do this work and love someone who does?

Module 3           What do we do about it?  What you need as a first responder and those who love them.

Name of participant, position within the agency, best email to send the access code, phone number of participant

Legacy Place Society will then email you the link to the Eventbrite site for registration.  This will then produce a code at the bottom of the ticket and instruction to then go to Dr Jody Carrington site and register again.  Thank you for your patience in advance as online platforms are independent of each other.

OUR OBJECTIVES: 

Confidential Help Line – a confidential response by phone for the individuals and families of First Responders, Veterans and Military Personnel that facilitates connection to professional and peer support 403-201-9945

Home Away From Home – provide confidential and safe transitional temporary accommodations to First Responders, Veterans and Military Personnel (individually or as a family) for their well-being security and access to professional support so that they can recover quickly from a broad range of serious difficulties.  Our locations in Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer have supported over 40,000 nightly stays.

Family Included Education Partnerships – to increase knowledge, reduce stigma and enable networking by organizing and facilitating psychological wellness and suicide awareness conferences, workshops, family camps for the individuals and families of First Responders, Veterans and Military Personnel.
