We are dedicated to providing financial assistance to individuals who face barriers in accessing the services of mental health professionals. Our financial support extends to professionals such as psychologists and psychotherapists with a Master’s or PhD in Psychology or Social Work.

Funding requests must be submitted in writing by a mental health professional. Eligibility is contingent upon donor contributions.

FUNDING ELIGIBILITY

Funding eligibility is extended to individuals engaged in specific occupations, including 911, EMS, or Fire Communications Officers (Call Taker/Dispatcher), Correctional Officers (inclusive of parole and Probation Officers), Firefighters, Military personnel (Air Force, Army, Navy), Paramedics, Police Officers, and Peace Officers as defined by the Criminal Code of Canada. Those serving in these essential roles may qualify for financial support to access mental health services through our Education Bursaries program.

During the inquiry process, individuals will be prompted to disclose whether they have utilized workplace-provided benefits, union benevolence, personal insurance coverage, or explored other agency possibilities. Additionally, we recommend pursuing inquiries through organizations such as Wounded Warriors and TEMA to ensure a comprehensive approach to obtaining support. This step aims to consider and maximize all available avenues for assistance beyond our Education Bursaries program.
