2017 BC Wild Fires: Legacy Place Society Supports BC Wildfires Fundraising Efforts through CanadaHelps

Legacy Place Society is proud to partner with CanadaHelps in support of fundraising efforts for the 2017 British Columbia Wildfires. This collaboration ensures that donations made through our organization are securely processed, with tax receipts issued for all contributions.

About Legacy Place Society’s Role
Legacy Place Society has been contacted to assist in this crucial effort due to our longstanding commitment to supporting communities in crisis. With a history of responding to emergencies, including the Alberta floods in 2013 and the Fort McMurray fires in 2016, we continue to provide trusted support during times of need. Our team, including Board and Advisory members, maintains strong relationships in key areas such as Kelowna, Kamloops, and Prince George.

Fund Distribution Process
We take great care in ensuring that funds raised through Legacy Place Society are allocated according to our mandates. A committee consisting of trusted members will oversee the distribution of funds to provide aid where it’s needed most. We are committed to transparency and accountability, ensuring that every dollar reaches those who are affected by the 2017 BC Wild Fires.

Tax Receipts and Donations
Donations made through Legacy Place Society via CanadaHelps are eligible for a tax receipt. We encourage everyone to donate generously and assist in providing critical support to the affected communities.
