red deer capital
Legacy Place Society has been renting a location as a “Home Away From Home” location for First Responders and Military Personnel since 2010 in Red Deer Alberta.

To date, we have accommodated over 5000 “nightly stays” in support of personal crisis situations for First Responders and Military Personnel in Central Alberta.  This does not include the support at our current Legacy Place Houses in Calgary or Edmonton.

These situations include but are not limited to the following:

  • Finding themselves seeking medical support for Post Traumatic Stress, Trauma, Surgery, Addiction Recovery, Operational or Occupational Stress Injuires
  • Situations where current circumstances on the home front are not conducive to an effective recovery to the individuals medical requirements
  • Marital or relationship transitions

As a not for profit registered charity, Legacy Place Society owns the Legacy Place Houses in Calgary and Edmonton and collectively since 2001, over 32,000 nightly stays have been noted as this critical “Home Away From Home” support for First Responders and Military Personnel.

Legacy Place Society is in the process of purchasing a permanent (but confidential) location in Red Deer.  Please consider a financial contribution to this initiative.  For further information, contact Legacy Place Society at 403-201-9945 or the website at http://legacyplacesociety.com/

Our goal is to raise $400,000
